What does it mean to have both Love & Faithfulness?

I created this necklace as I read this scripture below; it stated to bind both love & faithfulness around your neck (seems pretty literal right? - I thought so). Then it made me realize having these two words around my neck is a daily reminder to not only trust in the Lord with all my heart but to honor His love. To not be impressed with my wisdom and understanding; what the world has to say. But how can I give my love and faithfulness to the Lord and serve others in the same way. If you have not read Proverbs 3 - I highly recommend reading it. 

"Let not steadfast love and faithfulness forsake you; bind them around your neck; write them on the tablet of your heart." Proverbs 3:3
